The Cornwall Inn – Perfect Base Camp!

Why “rough it” in a tent when a comfortable bed and hot shower are waiting for you after a long intense day of hiking. Just minutes from the Appalachian Trial and many, many wonderful hikes, the Cornwall Inn is the perfect place to set up camp (without the tent, of course!). We will get you started with a fantastic continental breakfast including Mark’s FAMOUS homemade granola. When you return, cool off by taking a dip on our pool in the summer months or sip on a complimentary glass of wine fireside during the cooler months!

Need shuttling to the trail head–no problem. With advanced shuttle reservation we can drop you off or pick you up. Just imagine how far you can go, knowing you will be returning to a welcoming and cozy Inn at the end of the day.

Shuttle Service – $3.00 a loaded mile. $30 minimum. ADVANCED RESERVATION REQUIRED and can be made by calling 860.672.6884

Cornwall in September

A girl friend qnd I stayed in the periwinkle room which has two full size beds. The breakfast was lovely and more than we usually eat. There was homemade bread each day, hard boiled eggs, amazing homemade granola and plenty of fruit and yogurt. Mark gave us great suggestions for day trips in the area. We enjoyed the hike around Kent Falls especially, and local restaurants. The room was clean and the beds comfy. In the last week of September the leaves were just beginning to turn, a treat for this Texan nonetheless. We would stay again with our husbands.

Lovely Inn, Exceptional Owners

We couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful place to stay. The entire area is beautiful this time of year. The inn itself was clean and cozy. The breakfast was wonderful down to the hard boiled eggs that were cooked perfectly….the kind I always wish I could make. The owners, Mark and Stacey were friendly and kind.
